i just upgraded to a 14b from my t25. it was kind of a bitch, but i got it running again, and now when i shift under full boost, i get like a squeak. it almost sounds like tires chirping, but it when i let off the gas. at first i thought it was compressor surge, but i hear the bov. this happend to anyone else before? anybody know of a way to stop it?
i sprayed a lil' WD-40 into the vac port, but that didn't do ----.

Is it a squeak or a whine? How long does it last. I wouldn't think a wastegate would make that noise.

 

Try moving the wastegate manually and see if it makes that noise.

I don't think its the BOV, never did it before. I opened both by hand when I put it in, and the new one made a noise then. But when I connect it to the compressor it doesn't? Its doing it less now. I just wasn't sure if it was compressor surge, having never heard it before.
