$450 for a junkyard engine, have you lost you ------- mind? I only paid $500 for a low mileage zc vtec from a local engine importer. And it has a 2year warranty. I dont know the exact milage of mine but when i took off the valve cover and oil pan it looked brand freakin new.

no i didnt buy the motor a 450 is the going rate for a y7 in iowa

No you didnt but I had no problem finding a camshaft seal on my single cams or at napaonline.com, part # BA 0523331. So what is it a technicality?? Please do tell, im on the edge of my seat waiting for you to tell the wonders of the d16

maybe you are thinking of the dizzy o ring. i had an oil leak problem on my mini me swap way back when. There is no cam seal on a single cam.

wtf are you talking about? He is talking about oil around the timing belt cover. the distributor is on the back side of the engine and it has a o ring to seal the it. Then theres the front side of the engine. what do you think stops oil from pouring into the timing belt cover? The cam seal sits right behind your cam gear on your single cam. it's real, I swear
