sparying oil
 
my buddy has a d16y7 that hell sell me for 200but its sparying oil out of the timing clover what could this be?

ne have any ideal cuz iv looked around and cant find any thing about this :l

cam seal is my guess if its up high, if its low its the front main.

well, go to autozone.com and see how much a new one costs. then search online for a civic manual and look up how to change whatever seal it is your after. Either one is a quick fix if you have the right tools ;)

well the cam seal is 4.99 and the front is yet to be found but yeah all and all i think its a good buy so then ill take my y7 i have now but in new rods and pistons for turbo and keep you updated

You could just spring for the complete gasket kit so its never a worry again.

single cams do not have cam seals

i never did buy this motor he told me it had a knock in it so ---- that when i can buy one for 450 for a j yard already pulled and a good running motor
