are you useing JB weld as a gasket? if so, make your own, they have gasket sheets you can buy and cut your own gasket. the best ive used is stuff from Mr. Gasket, sold at Jegs (i buy it from the local jegs, but they are online at jegs.com)

the DP is fine, i could make one to fit there, so im sure you or someone else can.

he is using the sealant to take up the space since those are two different kinds of t3 flanges

yea but if i rotate it anymore the compressor housing will not be straight downward, but at a similar angle to what it is now, except tilted towards the block, so i figured the way it is now is coo. and yea the wastegate actuator would be the complicated part. it actualy wouldnt line up to have the compressor housing facing straight down.

it should be fine tho.

and if you miss building a kit, you can finish mine!!!! cuz this thing is frustrating the hell outa me, but i just keep reminding myself one day it will all be over and ill be boosted and i will remember how hard i worked and it will be all the more worth it!!!!!!

you can rotate it however much you want, what do you mean it will have to point at the block

well since im lazy as hell, and i already broke a few little wrenches tryin to mess with the turbo, to rotate the compressor housing i would have to rotate the turbine housing as well just to rotate the wastegate actuator, so that it would line up with the compressor housing after rotating it.

i can only rotate the compressore housing to match up with the holes for the wastegate, and if i turn it more the other way, just to match it up with the holes, i would have to turn counter-clockwise, past facing straight-downward and it would be facing mostly downward (as it is now) but slightly slanting towards the block. id rather have it slanted towards the ic, than the block.

you dont have to make the hole for the wg line up....re-drill them after you make the housing point the way you want. If that doesnt work, make a custom bracket.

^ eh, it should be fine the way it is.

Okay, now I have like the same exact set-up and I'm wondering how a downpipe is going to fit.

What I meant is that if you're standing in front of your car, you obviously can't rotate the part that connects to the manifold.

But on the right side of that part are a bunch of bolts. Loosen those, and you can rotate the center cartridge & compressor together. Again, it would be a really good idea to have the oil inlet (usually a small threaded hole) and the oil outlet (usually a square hole) straight up and down. Once the center is in line, tighthen those bolts and then loosen the other bolts for the compressor and rotate that however you need to set it up and still have the wastegate work. I'd skip making a special bracket if you don't have to.

Re: sorry, but another question

well the oil inlets are not facing up and down completely. but the drain will facing down at a slant. and the oil feed is kinda at an upwards slant towards the front of the car.

like i said i have already tried loosening those bolts, and the only thing that came about were broken wrenches. im goin ta try it like it is. and it my turbo is not being cooled as much as it should. ill take it to a shop and have them loosen the bolts so i can rotate it.
