before you blame the turbo, are you using a restrictor?
And is that drain pointed within a few degrees of straight down?

Maybe you'll get lucky and you're jsut pushing a little oil from too much pressure or not a good enough drain.

You're a ------- trooper hacking that ---- with a dremel cut-off tool. I despise those things as they don't hold up for ----, though I find myself using them now and then.

yeah the drain line is good.. i took an inch off it today so it's a slope all the way to the pan with no kinks.. no dice

also tried venting crank case pressure with the oil cap off and it still began to smoke.

I made a restrictor since the feed is -4 AN with a 7/64" hole right before the turbo.. some people say 1/16" but god damn that's like a needle hole.. i couldn't bring myself to do that

I'm beginning to think the 5w30 oil is getting too thin once it heats up. 15w50 time??

that's REALLY small for a journal bearing turbo, are you sure that will be ok?

also I don't have a timer setup, and I just realized i've been cutting it off right after driving for extended time..

How did you blocked the pvc and run the tube to the catch can? I'm not sure to understand that part of turbo setup... I learn fast when I want but that part I just don't get it..

Ninja edit: I can see your finger on the pic :P
