HUGE difference with the backdoor setup and the equal manifold.. turbo spools almost instantly from stabbing the throttle at a 5th gear (low speed) cruise.
this had me pretty irate; vacuum line nipple/banjo fitting ------- broke when I was trying to adjust it.. luckily there was enough left so I could clamp the line to the leftover..
also having a little bit of an oil problem.. oil drips a few times from the CHRA after driving. I need a 45* off the drain fitting so I can clock the drain vertical again

Good eye, i though that was for the fire ring, but then remembered that it's only for the waste gate.
marcj, if you do have shitty spool time or leaks that will mostly be your problem.

oh yea, CSaddict, my wastegate was a 35mm tial I got for 50 bucks with no fire ring. I found a 38mm ring so I took the dremel to the 35 and made the ring fit.. so now it's pressed in and doesn't come out at all.. so it doesn't need the flange to press the ring against the valve. 'ish I know
