As I said though, the fab work is great. In the worlds of fab work and welding, there's some people that are good at one and some good at the other. It may just be that this guy hasn't gotten a lot of experience and is picking up on the fab a bit quicker than the welding.

I can appreciate an experienced/knowledgable opinion. After using the Miller welder at my friends shop I don't ever want to weld with my flux welder again. I thought I was a shitty welder because all of my welds with the flux look like ***, but I'm really not that bad with a good welder.

All that welding on that pipe was a waste of time and shows the shops lack of material sourcing.
They could and should have bought some exhaust DONUTS from HERE
They are made for impossible tight areas. Been using them in the Mustang community for years (Covell has been manufacturing them and other metal fab stuff since before most of you were born :P )

i had read about them but never seen 'em.
gets me thnking that i really gotta learn to weld.
it doesn't look all that hard to do....
but i imagine it's tough to master.
