Default SOHC VTEC, 6psi T3, 160whp on Crome, NSFW

I'll have pics of the engine bay tomorrow night, dun warry :1

The catch is that this works 101% with AC and PS in a 95 EX. Just no filter if you're a ----- and need PS. I'd have pushed it to ~11psi, but my trans is making more noise than a virgin that just had her first orgasm, and I was an hour from home. Sometimes the gear de-meshing sounds like a JRSC. Basicly I made it so all that's needed is to remove the AC fan, put 3 holes in the oil pan for the return, and do the normal bumper cutting. It retains all AC/PS/Washer components, and bolts up to the stock cat using the flexing donut/spring flange.

Its a sink-trap style top mount using a stock cast 4-1 LX header with 2" elbows/piping. The turbo is your common .42/.48 50trim T3. SSAuto WG (holds boost solid as my **** in mentioned virgin), 2.25" mandrel-bent tubing, silicone couplers, SS/lined clamps, SS oil lines, ebay fmic, greddy type-s bov, DSM 450cc's, no-name fmic, 3" DP to stockish cat/b-pipe to 2" tenzo-r axle-back (the shitty exhaust came with the car). The block has 8.5:1 wisecos, eagles, 12 posts (pinned sleeves), modded oil pump, acl bearings, and polished/camfered/balanced crank. Stock IM, Head, 60mm TB.

To give you a point of reference, there was a JDM B20 with a new-from-a-dealership ITR head, junk2 IM, DC header, and some 2.5" exhaust w/ITR ecu doing 163whp just before me (to his credit, he was a bit lean in vtec). Considering my entire kit & built motor set me back less than his head alone, I'm happy. It may be cheap, but it idles perfect, AFR's are dead-nuts on, gets great gas milage so far, and NO oil leaks.

I figured its not a crazy dyno chart, so I spiced it up a tad. :P BTW it spooled up slow on the dyno for some reason, I dunno. It usually hits boost earlier, but really not bad for a 1 7/8" exhaust...

Well i made it to fit a totoally stock EG with virtually zero mods. It so happens to be for sale atm. I'm just mad about the tranny. I really wanted to push 18psi and see what it would do.

My next one will be similar (same turbo), but with a Z6 4-2-1 mani, 3" dp/exhaust (1 res, 1 muff), 2.5" charge pipes, and ~18ish psi w/780cc's.

lol, I just noticed on the dyno sheet, the little jump in power at 5k must be vtec. :1 Guess I wasn't seeing the forest for the trees.

Walking at 15psi? This is a T3 btw. There have been a few 400+ stock sleeve'rs, and that takes 19+ psi from a big turbo.

Maybe the info is confusing, but those numbers were on the built block that have the 12 studs in it. The head/mani are untouched and the exhaust very tiny, which is why power isn't spectitular. I also wanted to make a cheap kit with existing parts, because a 8.3:1 NA sohc in a full weight EX sucks Hotrex's *****. I only added $30 in extra parts to pull this together...I have that much raw materials...

The only other block I intend to build is another z6 for another car, using 76mm vitaras and some cheaper rods for reliable 250whp. Or maybe 400, as that car will not have gay AC lines or a compressor to cut my space in half.
