I was just woundering what the size of the first gen eclipse 14b turbo's where. I was looking at an IHI turbo from a 88 Ford THunderbird that is a .48/.52 . Are the 14b turbos bigger or smaller than this IHI turbo?

 

the 14b is smaller.
the 48/52 will almost always be a better choice

 

The 14b is similiar to a 42/48.
