Default Simple Q

Ok... pretty simple question. When I installed all my turbo stuff, I used a 1/8" NPT fitting into the back of the block instead of a 1/8" bsp. It fit in, but was real tight. I recently purchased one of the "Tuner Toys" special block fittings that has the correct 1/8" bsp fitting and also has the available outlets for the pressure sensor and oil line plus an extra for oil sensor... pretty cool.

If I take out the fitting I have in the block now, will it mess up the original threads in the block or will it just leave the brass crap inside? I'm really worried about it and want to do it right, but at the same time since it's already working, I don't want to mess something else up and create another problem. Maybe I should just save the fitting to use on my built ZC later? I'm just curious about the threads in the block though... I would hate to pull the fitting out and not have any threads... would be stupid.

id hate to be in your position hehe but id just leave it. to be on the safe side you know? plus unless the motor is out of the car its going to be a bitch to get the threading re-done.
