I'm pretty sold on all the PT turbos, all the guys from full race and tony from jotech have built some crazy hondas with the SC series turbos, I think the SC61 w/ 04s housing would be the way to go. Thats definatly what I will be using on my setup, and my goal is 500ish whp.

Bling Bling... cant wait for mine

Actually you really dont need a compressor that big. what you need to do is uncocrk the exhuast side of the engine to help the thing breathe. Trust me the last thing you want is a small turbine and a huge compressor. look at all the factory turbo apps. Big turbine slightly smaller ocmpressor. why do you think that is. Im not detialing with why in this thread either.

yeah ive alrady herd enough of this. sotkc these motors put down like 130hp and 145 TQ in stock trim. with a few bolts ont liek exhuast and a mild cam regrind 160 is eas. these are flywheel numbers.

HMM iron Block with thick cylinder walls. Closed deck surface. Hmm i dont need no stinking sleeve.

ahh was carberated. Is now GM ecm with built in boost code and DIS. Whats MPFI ? LOL

There the best question ive herd all day. Lots of head porting. a really aggresive camshaft 9.5:1 compression and a intelgently selected turbo that does not impose a drop in VE representing more then 15% of the total flow of the engine.

GM ecm that's the ECU for the GM cars.
They are really good for DIY standalone units.

you ppl make me wanna cry

i have seen Seans car, and rode it in. He has a GM boosted ecu running his. It's not hard. Grab the GM sensors and the ecm and wire the ---- up. no biggie.

Its been considered, by some, to be far superior to the Honda ecu. And it's a very smart idea, if you have the brains to come up wiht it.

Sean knows more about this than 90% of you, so there is no point in questioning him about HIS car.

and you don't need orings for 25psi. ----, we just finished my friends 510whp b16 last weekend. STOCK headgasket NO o-rings, and held 27 psi on 15 dyno runs. Just cause you read about soemthing happening, or hear someone's shitty opinion doesn't mean ---- until you've tried it.

Some people have different views on things, I honestly think its going to be pretty tough to get that kinda power out of that thing, but than again I have no experience with that engine or EFI system he is using. I do know he will need alot of boost, a very effiecent turbo and several hours on the dyno. Because you can read all you want about pressure ratios, cam grinds and what they will do, but will it all work together and really make the power you wanted? only the dyno will tell you that.

I have no doubts in my setup, because so many people have done similar setups like mine. The reason people are questioning this is because nobody hears of a A20 running 600whp. I think its quite crafty.

good luck, and I also think the GT25 or GT30 is a good choice, just a little pricey
