Why narrowing down the choices to only these two turbos? They're not the only options for such power level.

There's certainly a version of the borgwarner S200 that can do the trick, holsets hx whatever, as well as a non BB GT 3782 or GT 4082 and of course I can make a ported full T4 with .50 or .60 a/r P trim turbine and a .70 a/r t04e compressor housing overbored to a 60-1, watercooling and bolted down 360° thrust plate for a fraction of any of the above discussed turbos price and it will perform just as good if not better.

well from what i read and hear about the big difference is not neccacaraly spool with the gt turbo's but responce. as in chilling on the highway and some jackass in his ricemaro pulls up and you drop a gear and take off the gt35 "should" respnd way faster.

now does anyone have dyno's to show the spool on these 2 turbo's?

I am personaly playing with a GT35R on my H22 right now and I think it lags more than the journal bearing 60-1 that i used last year.
i think a GT 3082, if you select the good a/r, could support just as much power with a better spoolup. it's a 8 mm smaller turbine wheel than the gt35R.
