You say thats a KA24? isnt that a N/A motor stock? I'm not really into the nissan thing but I was looking at a 240sx a few years back and I believe it had a Ka24 is that right?

do you have any more info on you're setup? any internal's? and what kind of power does it put down? i'm real curious.

 

Ya it's a KA24de twincam one. Stock it's N/A.
Dont have a dyno yet but normal range for 12psi
is around 300hp and same with the Tq, with
a nice sized turbo.

 

dont those motors usually let go at around 300-350? but they are still very tough! i'd rock one over the mad jdm sr20 bullshit.

 

If you look at his other threads, he did it just in case this ---- happened. KA24's are like our D15 in the sense nobody wants them. You guys thought honda-tech was JDm'd out? The 180/240 boys are so JDM they ---- while squatting. They *have* to have the sr20 or its just another DD. I wish our '----' Honda motors were 2.5L, not 1.5.

BTW its usually the tranny to watch for. You can do a piston/rod KA24 fairly cheap, most of the trannies aren't fun to deal with.
