Default Return line fitting

I got a Tuner Toys oil return line kit. For the fitting for the oil pan can i get another fitting and weld it to the pan or how to people normally do this.

Ive been searching and havent found help on this when using the tuner toys kit

You can use a 1/2 O.D. piece of pipe. Either steel or aluminum, depending on your oil pan.

Im guessing with threads on the insde of it to screw the fitting on that came with the kit that has the barbed end on it

Yes, but I figured it would be better to have another fitting on the pan itself or something...

The piece of pipe I was talking about would be welded to your oil pan.
