haha ok, so I got the stud off with a lil muscle. I didnt realize that the hole wasnt all the way through.. How am I supposed to use bolts to bolt it up to the adapter plate now? How did you guys do it?

still wondering how you guys did it. Just use 3 of the 4 bolts or something?

3/4 bolts aint bad... just through a little love weld on there

gay, does everyone with 14b/hf mani setup weld their plates to their turbos? Im kinda hesitant to do something that permanent

i just got an adapter plate that has countersunk holes in the top to hold the turbo in. then the gasket for the manifold goes right over the tops of the bolts so its flush with the plate. then the mani bolts right up. its good ---- and i was real hesitant to weld also. paid like 120 for it but it was worth it.
