They changed the rules not too long ago that all the saftey ---- is required for 11.49 instead of 11.99 like before.

Yeah, Im not planning on running 11's anyway. This is my daily driver and reliability is pretty important. I just hope track officials dont stress me.

Not worth it to relocate your battery, can easily route your charge piping around the battery

use that cable you bought and upgrade your grounds maybe, or sell it

Bumble- what track do you go to in ontario that has such a hard tech? Not Kaygua is it? ---- Ive seen horrible cars go through that tech

Grand Bend.

They Slammed me for not having my kill switch hooked up te first time, and didn't say anything about my non-sealed marine box. ust made sure it was secure.
Second time, kill switch worked, but the guy let me sneak by on the box that time. My dad's Dart has the same box, but seeing as there is a seat in between he considered it a good enough firewall, but bitched about his switch.

Kaygua has a lot of ricers go through compared to Grand Bend!! The have a lot worse ---- to deal with then Grand Bend. I don't know what Kaygua gets for street cars on a Street Wars night, but guarenteed there is usually 1-2 8sec cars and a ---- load of sub 12's. They watch there ---- pretty tight there!

NHRA Rulebook

General Regulations 8.4 Master Cutoff.
Mandatory when battery is relocated, or as outlined in Class Requirements. An electrical power cutoff switch (one only) must be installed on the rearmost part of each vehicle and be easily accessible from outside the car body.

General Regulations 8.1 Batteries.
In lieu of rear firewall, battery may be located in a sealed .024-inch steel, .032-inch aluminum, or NHRA-accepted poly box. If sealed box is used in lieu of rear firewall, box may not be used to secure battery and must be vented outside of body.
