If you can move the piston ring in and out on the shaft even slightly, that's gonna be a leaker for sure.
That sound logical. Im gonna use an oil restrictor because after some researching Ive concluded that 25psi at idle is slightly higher than some others. If this dosent solve my problem then Ill focus on the turbo itself. Do you have any reccomendations for rebuilding my Garrett T3 if I need it serviced?

Yes, if with a 1/16" restrictor and a proper ½" drain you still have oil leakage problem, you can send your turbo to us. We rebuild it for only 125$ and after that it looks and performs like a new one and is covered with a 6 months warranty.

Thats good to know. Just curious, after you receive the turbo, how long before you repair it and send it back?

You mean? plugging the internal wastegate hole in the turbine ?
It doesn't involve welding at all!
Just a block off flange does the trick for 25$ !

Ha, this is like the BlaastPerformance advertising thread. It's really a staged post. That is a really good deal on a rebuild compared to the $250 norm.

I realize that, just I never see you post all that often. I was only joking.
