Ran 4psi now only 8 whats wrong?
i have a turbo on my car for about 2 months now and it was running great at 8 pounds boost. now it seems to only run 4 pounds boost. we checked: intercooler piping, B.O.V, wastegate. the turbo spools but wont create anymore boost then 4psi at any time. what could be wrong??

crack in your exh mani, ?? maybe its not getting as much pressure as it did before, or check where the manifold mounts to the head, where the turbo mounts to the adapter plate or plate to turbo, only thing i can think of if you checked all that other stuff...btw you shouldve just bumped your other post to get it to the top, reposting sucks

maybe change your air filter, i ran a shop rag air filter and couldn't get any boost after a while cause it got so much gunk stuck in it that it reduced airflow to the point where the turbo couldn't suck in enough air to be in boost

Yes all of the above. Check all the couplings for small leaks. Retorque all your bolts in the manifold and turbo.
I was reading the subject of this thread and didn't get it until I opened it up. Ran 4psi and now only 8psi
