questions about a big turbo
3 Attachment(s)
so i pulled this turbo off an international harvester diesel engine, its a To4B18, .60a/r cold, 1.32a/r hot, i have no idea about any other specs on it, but it spins perfect and has no play at all.
now my car is a 94 accord with the f22b2. my question is, well im pretty sure the answer is no, but do you guys think i could even get this thing to spool? if not, is it possible to put a t3 exh housing on it, with a .63, or .48a/r? here are some pics....(not the actual one, but the same thing) http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/m...81/870f_12.jpg Attachment 14754 Attachment 14755 Attachment 14756 i figure since i got it for free, i cant really go wrong, even if i end up selling it |

Re: questions about a big turbo
If you were building an sfwd motor, then you would be okay with the T4 1.32ar but as a street car, it would be rather unsuitable. However I am sure you could find a smaller T4 turbine to put on there. Iirc going to a T3 Hotside would require a turbine wheel change as well.
