Question on injector seals/ pics inside
ok, i think i know 3/4 the seals go..
the BIG green one is the one you bore out and where the injector goes into the manifold
the GREEN o-ring small one is the one on fuel rail side
the taller BLACK one is for the injector seat onto the fuel rail
but what is the smaller BLACK one for?
Also, i just bought my 450cc 2g dsm injectors, I know i will need the 2 green seals, but is it necessary to get the taller "black" seal to sit on the rail or can i use the DSM ones or should i use my stock ones or buy new ones?
Thanks for your help!

Re:Question on injector seals/ pics inside
the black ones are for stock 240cc inj. the length of the inj body to tip is different from dsm 450cc and honda 240cc. that is why you should use the green seal. it's just a little taller and allows the pintile to sit in the manifold about the same as the stock.

Re:Question on injector seals/ pics inside
I found out why there is a difference with the green one and the little black one. Both of them are seals for injectors but Honda made different seals for certain cars (the injector port seat is deeper than some). For instance, I pulled apart a stock civic SI intake and it was using the small black ones, but the d series manifold I have has deeper ports. So instead of making a separate box for each year of car and each model they found it more cost effective to make both them.

2. Do i just go to HONDA and say "I want the green injector seal for d16y8 " etc?
