You don't need one if you have a good turbo. I bought 2 turbos for $30.00, self explanitory.


Seriously if its that big of a deal than spend the money and get one. It can't hurt anything unless you starve the turbo of oil

A restrictor is usually needed cause people use turbos with seals that are shot and just want it to stop smoking. Its kinda like a band aid. And also, your oil pressure for your motor is more important than to the turbo.

I use -4 because it's bigger, so when people look under your hood they are impressed by the glare the steel braid gives off.

So if you use the restrictor it doesn't hurt anything at all, but if you don't you can get it hurt, if it is pushing more pressure then it is suppose to.

If the turbo is in good condition, you don't need a restrictor but it's just precaution or for turbos that are about to give out....a turbo really only needs 5psi of oil at idle anyways

anyone know how i can in touch with tunner toys? id like to call them and make sure im getting the right kit, but for the past 2 days they havent picked up their phone!!! wtf

I'm a big fan of -3 for feed line, but -4 will be fine. As far as the oil restrictors, I'll have to agree with whitey, I've never had to use one on any of my setups. Even on my gf's car which has a modified oil system that puts out over 50psi just idling.
