Default question about hybrid turbos

hi,
I've got a couple newbie questions about hybrid turbo's if you don't mind. I tried the search but for some reasom I get"The page cannot be displayed" error. any ways, here's what I have,
99 civic with a y7 engine and soon to have y8 head.for the manifold I have a hf manifold and std manifold as well as t25 adapter plate and a t3 adapter plate.not sure which plate I'm gonna use yet.I've got a couple turbos at my disposal for use,

first is a t3 off a volvo( 50 trim I think), I have a brand new center section for it so it will be basically a new turbo.

second is a gt17, it's one of the newer style garret turbos suppossed to be better with less parts and last longer then the old t series turbos.it has no shaft play and is like new .basically it's a t25 with a slightly different compressor wheel .

third is just your regular garret t25, has some minor shaft play, but nothin serious.

my goal is to have a good dailly driver, with as little lag as possable, while still retaining some good mid to upper power.I've heard that the t25's tend to fall a little flat on the upper rpms (depends some what on the turbo mani).but the t25 seems to have the low lag and good bottom to mid power I'm looking for.finally for my questions, what's involved in making a hybrid turbo say like a t28? would I have all the necessary parts? a t28 is a t25 exhaust side with a t3 compressor right? if so what center section would I use? the one from the t3 or the one from the t25? or are garret center sections universal fit? would I also need to get the turbo balanced or any thing?
would the t28 be more what I'm looking for rather then the t25 or t3?
sorry if this is really simple stuff, I'm pretty new to this so"m trying to learn as fast as I can.
Thanks,
B

if you dont want the power to fall off, use the t3, and if you ahve a new center section thats even better. youll get good power with the t3
