Default putting together a turbo

is there a setup and how to put one thats been taken apart together, im stuck , i can't get the aliminum housing to fit , there is a little horse shoe thing moving and i can't figure out where the hell it goes, thanks its a 14b turbo btw

you wouldnt happend to have a pic... might help..

heres a pic from ebay... on how a garette looks, disassembled.. you might want to use that as a reference

you might want to post some pics on this "horse shoe thing". but it sounds like youre talking about the snapring on the compressor housing. and as far as using the garret as referance. the mitsubishi 14b has parts that the garrett does not. the snapring is one of those parts
