Default Purple Ice (super coolant) - Item Review

Hey ladies, Ive been having alot of probs w/ my Y8 becoming very slugish during the hot(95*+) afternoons here in the south-west. Ive been trying alot of lil things to fix this but nothings helped. I tried 1 and 2 step colder plugs to fix this and the missfire prob I had, No more missfire but still bogging. I also figured It was my IC placement. Its mounted behind my bumper(SMIC) on the pass side. Not a good place on a 96-98 civic considering there is no way for air to hit it unless you cut a hole in the bumper. It was actully heating the heating instead of cooling the air. NE way, I went to NAPA last week to pick up some new DP gaskets and stumbled across Purple Ice. Its a super coolant like water wetter made by Purple Rain. I figered why not try it. It was about $12.50, a lil expensize but its I like the brand name. Well I went ahead and through it in and damn. That ---- works. My ride is actually running alot cooler and less slugish. We all know cold=power so this ---- kicks buns. If NE of you have some cash laying around I recomd you pick up a bottle for the summer.

The only place that has it in store is NAPA. Im sure other part stores can order it for you. You can also get it through Summit or JC Whitney.

Just remember that if U live in an area that experiences colder wheather, U'll have to swap it out during the winter.

Not neceserily(spelling?). If you mix it to directions it should be fine in the winter. If you put in a street vehicle, you must still keep some percentage of anti-freeze in your coolant system to keep the fluid from...... well, freezing.

Yes, Purple Rain is one of Prince's songs. Don't beat yourself too much...I'm sure the people got your message.
