i don't know about you guys but some of the old school hot rodders use moth ***** to raise the octance . It sounds funny but its a real old school and cheap way to do it. Unfortnately not really a way to measure it ,they usually go about 2 moth ***** for about 10 gallons. But if you have a plastic gas tank do not throw the moth ***** in your car. Do it in a seperate container cause it will blow up a plastic gas tank.

Shiet, I run 118 at the track its only like 6.50 a gallon.. LOL

As long as your fuel setup is stable (and something to control your spark), you can stay on pump gas for quite awhile.. well over 12psi.

It's all in the tune. I am running 12 psi on 93 octane on my V8, with hypercraptic pistons.

----, she loves da boost!

Running slightly fat (don't ask exact numbers, haven't logged it yet. Using a digital a/f gauge). Also pulling 1 degree per psi with a MSD BTM.

No signs of detonation on the plugs (remember reading plugs? Yeah, old school! )

Hypercrapticinstamelt pistons are fine for N/A apps.. they don't much like power adders.. BUT that is what GM put in the LT1 stock, and the motor is still stock.. FOR NOW!!

The original question was how much boost on pump gas? Answer is

"it depends"!! :P
