Projects of 2008
So I'm kind of new the forum, finally registered after two years of lurking around... and well 2008 for me is going to be a crazy year for building my ---- up...
Project #1 Begin restoration of my Mazda 323 GTX (1.6L DOHC Turbo, 4-wheel drive) Project #2 Begin my long dreamed of turbo Escort setup project #3 Begin Supercharging my VR6 in my bora... So the question I have for you guyz is this, what forced induction related project do you plan on starting, or finishing in 2008? |
Re: Projects of 2008
picked up a 89 hatch for 3 bills....looking to turbo the stock dpfi setup as i've never run a turbo setup off only 2 injectors....then swapping a mini me worked over and going for that 300hp mark while rockin the D.

Re: Projects of 2008
Post pictars of said Mazda.
Supercharging is for fags, go turbo or go home. |
Re: Projects of 2008
Integra 91,
t3 precision turbo eagle rod forged piston 450cc full crower built ls head port and polish xenocron 255 fuel pump ported skunk2 intake manifold tial wastegate cdm bov mini ram horn manifold Still missing piping, interfooler, pison and rod, oil line (the drain supposed to be shipped soon) ::) And I don't know if I'll keep the 450cc. For the exhaust, I have a 2.5" catback, but maybe I'll buy a 3", but less ricer than this one. 4" outlet is a bit big :1 But if I don't want to spend more money I'll keep it. Anyway, when I begin the build I'll start a new thread ;D |

Re: Projects of 2008
upgraded the turbo set up on my car
topmount manifold gt35 turbo 50mm bov 44mm wastegate still gotta fab up a downpipe and dump and get it tuned.. trying to get a 10 or low 11 sec pass this year :6 |
Re: Projects of 2008
Get the sedan back on the road with a new clutch, ghetto exhaust (instead of just downpipe) and drag radials up front... This ---- is getting spendy
Also, not turbo related... But I'd like to find a cheap 92-95 hatch and run crome on the stock motor.. Advance the timing, run colder plugs, set rev limit to like 5 or 6k, add a little water injection with a 5 gallon tank in the trunk to keep temps down, lean the ---- out of the low cam map, set the valve lash to the loose side of spec to make sure they always stay somewhat cool, and read the plugs/EGTs until I get a ---- ton of gas mileage :6 Backwards ass I know :l |
Re: Projects of 2008
Project that I want to start, is mpfi obd1 swap and turbo my sedan. Car is a 91 dx sedan. Goal is to find a f22 swap, and boost it with a holset.
But i just found a guy selling a dx hatch and a si shell, that im thinking about picking up. If I pick those up then I will mostly try and sell the si shell and make the dx hatch my project. |
