i bought an rx-7 top-mount turboII intercooler for my project (u know the one that says "13B intercooled" on it), and i cant for the life of me get this bitch to fit like i want it to. w/o new endtanks (too expensive, could find better intercoolers for less $), i can't clear the downpipe w/o heating up the intake after the intercooler massively. which defeats the purpose of an intercooler altogether, it'd still be hot and have pressure drops. what intercoolers do you recommend for good fitment on hondas, and don't say starion or jrc.com, this is a SLEEPER and i don't want people to know it's turboed. which means mounting a side mount beside the half-size radiator and painting it black. is the dsm SMIC a good unit, it seems like it's a lil thick to be used right there, but the inlet/outlet look to be positioned almost perfectly.

 

 

get creative with the bends for the charge pipes/down pipe and it'll fit. you're gonna need to weld the charge pipes/dp at the right angle so it'll fit. i wraped the charge pipe in my car with aluminum foil and then secured it with steel wire so it won't come off and it's worked good for me. the cp section that i wraped was about 1/2" away from the dp. and it was only about a 7" section but i wraped the whole charge pipe which was short in length. it was the compressor outlet cp.
