Im back and boosting - Round 2
OK this post is a lil over due but im ------- lazy so suck my ***. I actually got everything running about a week ago. Like some of you know I blew my old motor in september...i think. #4 rod exploded and shot through the oil pan. I hit a nasty 12psi spike and then I later found out the rpm signal wire on the afc came dissconected so i was running w/ no managment. Oh well. I sold my old setup and built a better kit. For now Im keeping it sleeper style. Ill put my rims, cf hood, and projectors on later. Pix8.net trashes the image resolution, sorry for the pic quality. Let me know what you'll think.
My setup:
Sabb T3 .48/.42 @ 7-8.5PSI w/ moddified adjustable WG
Custom oil feed and drain lines
BMC mani
2.5 inch DP and exhaust
Gutted catty
P28 conversion
VAFC (hacked)
Precision 440s
1G DSM BOV
Custom 2.5 inch IC piping
JRC Intercooler
MSD SCI
1 step colder Densos
Poly-U mount inserts
Doesnt reach full boost till 5500 RPMS. When I hit full boost Im loosing traction on wet roads. :P Not to bad of a setup for under $1100. My HG is leaking so im dealing w/ an overheating prob but should have it fixed by next week. Thanx to Rafael and Kyle for the help.

i bet your "modded wg" is messed up... prolly stuck open or something so its having to build boost while its open already instead of opening when it see's boost... i bet that's ur problem... i bet... i bet.

My old t25 setup by 3G. Maybe its the HG? Maybe the IC? Cant figure out whats up w/ the lag. Maybe a Its the WG, had a problem like this for a while on my t25 then I put a new WG on and problem solved.

Re:Im back and boosting - Round 2
I was wondering how long it was going to take for you to post up some picts .Setup looks good!
That wastegate never lagged that long when I had it.It reached full boost by 3800 rpm or so.Something else must be up .
Just get a flange welded on that mani and go external.
