Re:porting the HF manifold

no, actual porting bits, but i'm using a air die grinder instead of a electric, so its slow going :'( But just incase you didn't know, profesional head porters like exospeed spend up to 70 hours on a head. ;)

Re:porting the HF manifold

There bullshitin you dude. I can bang a head out in 5-6 hours manifold in 1 hour. Most headporters can do it under 4 hours. 70 hours LOL. Oh I do this stuff for a livin so I have an idea of what it takes

Re:porting the HF manifold

70 hours so they spend almost a full 2 weeks of work porting a head LOL thats classic. Wow they make what like 8 bucks per hour ya right. I cant stand exospeed those guys are full of ----. There super power crx hasnt even run 13's yet I ran faster times on honda pistons on my d16. Oh I dont like exospeed.

Re:porting the HF manifold

you really think its bullshit, for a complete head build, combustion camber welding, everything. ok 70 hours might be more for like some v8 heads. But alot of guys spend atleast 30 hours on a honda head.

There ------ retards then. If you have ever worked with cutters and a good grinder it's very fast. Oh and I can post some dynos of my old d motors with this mystery 6 hour port work that works. I'll get them up asap

Re:porting the HF manifold

I love these headporters who claim to take a week to port a head. While they have huge shops/race cars/ and nice tow vehicles sure. Make it 4 not 40.

Re:porting the HF manifold

I would port match it. Sucks its welded up though.

I would separate the exhaust housing from the center section and then just flush it out with water after your done. That way you can go nuts and have the assurance that you can clean it out afterward. Then just bolt it back together.
