I've been building this setup of the winter and I finally finished it last week.
The turbo is off an '01 ram diesel, Holset HY35

What size turbo is that comparable to Garrett's?

Any more details? Specs, internals, fuel management?

Jay said his old HX35 didn't spool til 2nd gear, how's yours spin up?

its a stock b16 and I'm using turboedit on a ps9 and a LM-1 for tunning.

It starts to spool at 4000 and its really pulling by 6000rpm, even in first gear. Its not bad.

The turbo is similiar to a SC61. Its efficient up to 35psi. Right now I'm at 7psi and its probably making 200whp.

 

Wouldnt you be making more than 200whp at that setup with that turbo? just curious

 

he's being conservative. wouldnt you look stupid if you said its got about 300 whp and u go to the dyno and only pull 250?
