The polish isn't a coating.. being "polished" is a process. Where you sand down using a coarse grit and work your way down to a very very fine grit, then buff it with a rubbing compound. Where you start in the process depends on the finish your material has when you start.
It won't "come off" or anything since it's not a coating. You're physically changing the surface of the material.

Ahhh, i know how to polish stuff, but i figured the polishing compund stayed on tere and providedm ost of the lusture! Thx for the info

hey, im looking to purchase a turbo kit similar to this one, but its for my crx, i have a hf turbo exhaust manifold already, and im piecing the rest together. I was just wondering if this would fit on my car without the exhaust manifold. if so, how much would you let this go, w/o the exhaust mani thanks a bunch

ya why not just sell your turbo kit with a hf manifold/adaptor plate instead of going through all the trouble of making custom ones? I mean unless you want equal length the hf maniflods work fine.
