Default painting I.C. and Rad. = less efficient???

well i want to paint my new I.C. and Rad. flat black(old ones were flat black also) now with that being said will
painting the I.C. and Rad. make them less efficient?

Putting any coating on them will act as some sort of insulator if only by a small margin but, you wouldn't notice any difference.

Better solution would be to get them anodized. Often you can get this done for $40-$60 cash
