hey i am bulding a civic my current mods are:
Skunk2 stage 1 cams
Skunk2 cam gears
Skunk2 valve springs
Skunk2 valve spring Ti retainers
Skunk2 Intake manifold
Custom Throttle body 65mm i think
Iridium plugs
8.5mm Magnecore Plug Wires
and of course full exhaust, headers, intake
currently dyno tuned with a PROM Chip

my question is would i be able to use a EVO VIII 16g turbo i have heard of using the DSM turbos and stuff but there are small differences. the reason i want to use the evo turbo is because my other car is an evo and im upgrading to a GT35R turbo and so i'll have my turbo, manifold, intercooler, and some other things i was wondering if i could swap it into my civic thanks for the help

look up Turbo Compressor Maps man, get a idea what will work best with your engine, ive got some if u need em,

i say slap the turbo on, see when it spools up, if u dont like it then sell it and get a diffrent one?? i assume the evo is like 2L or something like that,
soo i dont see why it shouldnt work, its not like your taking a turbo off a 8L truck and sticking it on your 1.6L engine :P

you want to be careful with you cam duration, as you could loose all your boost due to valve overlap...
