most "ricers" wouldnt know an intercooler from a A/C condensor (and maybe not even that). I think the only reason I'd try to hide an intercooler is to make the car less of a theft target.

there is this guy with a talon that works at the parts store up the street that was saying that some 'ricer honda kid' keeps asking him how he got his radiator so shinny hahahaha its a 30inch core with like 3inch end tanks on it...

anyway that is part of the reason i painted it, tons of stupid *** questions, then i wounder if they even believe the awnsers i tell them (like that i run up to 11psi on a Honda). its a toss up....maybe i should paint half of the intercooler

bah shouldnt hurt performance enough to really make a difference. You only painted the "face" of the intercooler so the rest of the core can still do its job.

Wouldnt the paint give it more surface area allowing it to catch more air?
