i put a turbo on my car. it worked good 2 months at 8psi but now it only makes 4psi of boost. we've checked intercooler piping, b.o.v. wastegate, and nothing leaks. the turbo still spools but will not make more then 4psi of boost at any time. what could be wrong??

 

Have you done a boost leak test? It seems like something is VERY wrong, you have a fantom leak in a coupler, or a leaky bov. Here, try this out to make a boost leak tester. Mine was about 4 bucks. All you need is a tire valve, and a rubber pvc end cap. Follow this link http://www.vfaq.com/mods/ICtester.html

Any boost leak on a boosted car will hurt performance...or save you engine pick one
