yeah, use a deep well socket, i believe it's like a 22 or 23mm, maybe bigger. if you're a real hmt nucca, you'll use vice grips. you have to pull the rubber boot off first if that's what's confusing you.

It also helps to remove the oil filter as well.

24mm Deep Works great, or if you dont have a deep you can use a shorty just dont slide the head of the extension all the way in the socket.

haven't you guys ever heard of sender removal sockets? I have a variety for whatever the sensor needed to pull.. mostly black impact grade cheap auto part store specials.

Yes, but I'm not going to tell a newbie to go out and buy a 30 dollar Socket off Snap-on truck for a 1 time use. A 24mm socket will work fine.

yeah so instead he has to go out and buy a 24mm deepwell

He could always just go rent the socket from his local parts store or just buy it from the local parts store then return it when he's done (same thing!).. and where the hell are you going to find a damn snap on truck, I gotta hunt those bastards down. Yeah I know you work at a dealership and they swing by once a week but damn, it's a bitch for me to track them... and I can pretty much just throw away any Mac tools that break of mine.. that's like finding a needle in a stack of needles with that guy.

or he could buy a 24mm deep well socket from sears for like 3 or 4 bucks, and if he's really hurtin for cash, he can take it back like you suggested when he's done. or keep it incase he needs it again instead of running to the parts store every time.

Quadnie gets mad at me when I point out that he starts arguments over everything, no matter how stupid it is.

I was gonna say "wtf" but I can see that my team mate already handled the situation.
