can i mount an oil restrictor at the beginning of the feed line(back of block) to the turbo without starving the turbo for oil

 

well i took off the factory restrictor and replaced it with a -4an flare fitting at the turbo and then i got a restrictor fitting on the engine side that i will drill out to the same size as the factory fitting i cant put the restrictor at the turbo because of metric thread sizes

 

I will be using a .055 or .06 restrictor off my block this spring. I will have an oil pressure gauge in line after the restrictor to measure oil pressure that is getting to the turbo.
