i read on another website ,that a banjor fitting will work as a restrictor also. any thoughts on that?

Yes they "can" work as a restrictor. Are you having clearance problems or what?

no, its just the oil fittin on my 16g is a funky size. 12mm x 1.25, and i had to order a fitting to convert it for my stealthmode line (-3an), i figured a banjo could be 2 for 1, the correct size and a restrictor.

Eh. You would have to find a banjo bolt with a small enough orifice. Dsm's dont have a lot of oil pressure at the stock fitting, so they dont have a restrictor to begin with. The turbo itself is 'somewhat' restricted with its three small ports, but IDK. Do you have some sort of chinese 16g or something? It should have the same size fitting as a 14b...

yup its cdm, but ive heard from the local boards that those are 12mm too. i dunno but the fitting will be here today

BTW 16g has the same chra as a 14b. Same part # and everything. For future reference.

hmm, so then it should be the same? i think i used the same one from the t25 for my 14b from before, or maybe i use an adaptor, i cant remember. all i know is i got them from lowes.
i got the new fitting in today, so i'll try it and hope it works

friend is putting a stock dsm turbo 14b I think, but the stealthmode kit came with a 12mm x 1.25 fitting (checked it at lowes). Problem I'm having now is figuring out a cheap way to put an elbow on it to clear the manifold. Let me know what you come up with.
