Oil residuse in compressor housing??

Oil residuse in compressor housing??

I just got my turbo in the mail and there is oil in the compressor side of the turbo housing. Is this normal?? Are my seals shot...does it need a rebuild??

also is there any side to side shaft play a little it os like 1 mm more than that could be ok but.....

If there was Oil in the compressor housing the the seals aren't good anymore right??
OR am I wrong?
