i bought some time agoa oil pressure gauge.
on the instruction it says to remove the previous sensor and replace it with the new one from the gauge.
but where is that?
my engine is D15z6, i ve searched everywhere and the only possible way is above the oil filter but there is no room enought.
Where could i plant this sensor to read oil pressure?

 

your original sensor is on the right side of the oil filter below the intake manifold, it will look like a rubber nipple with a wire comming out of it remove that plug thats the oil pressure sensor. if you still cant find it get a haynes manual.

 

yah just to let you know its a 23mm socket to remove it!

 

15/16's fits a little better than 23mm

15/16 is what I used at first on my d16z6 and it was slipping go with a 23mm!

 

Well, my oil pressure sensor was located above my oil filter and not to the right of it. Once you see a black boot with a wire sticking out of it, then u know its the right one.

As for socket i used, it was a 24mm one. I couldn't find a 23mm deep socket anywhere, so i decided to use the 24 instead and it worked.
