My autometer electrical oil pressure gauge broke after 2 weeks. I have an autometer mechanical with a ss line now, and it's mint

If you mean the wiring, no. The stock sensor on the back of the block is simply a switch that completes a circut below xxpsi. If you mean t'ing the source for another sending unit, then yes.

Yup. I've run cars with no boost gauges. With boost cut set in the ECU, I'll probably own several more.

separate oil psi sensor, autometer ones tend to fail alot.
