Oil Inlet & Outlet
Just got my t3 and I have no idea which is the oil inlet and outlet? Any help would be great.
Thanx |
Re:Oil Inlet & Outlet
i pretty sure the top is in and the bottom is out.

Re:Oil Inlet & Outlet
Well if the compressor and turbine rotates witch is the top?

Re:Oil Inlet & Outlet
the fitting with the smaller hole is oil in and the one at the opposite side with the larger diameter is the oil out. oil in is under higher pressure and oil out is gravity feed. if the holes look the same look into the hole to see if it looks like it has a restrictor inside to lessen the feed of oil going into the section. the oil out you might be able to see the shaft if you shine a light into it? if you have coolant feeds on it they typically are the same size for each of them.

Re:Oil Inlet & Outlet
Where can you buy the coolant nozzle things the thread into the turbo, mine has one that is an elbow but where the coolant comes out it's just a threaded hole.

Re:Oil Inlet & Outlet
you need a threaded fitting to hose barb fitting.
