you stupid tard, you come on here looking for advice, and when a viable solution is presented you dismiss it? :1

get creative, and use flipped oem cast manis and a y pipe, as v8dave said, put turbo over inner frame area, move water bottle elsewhere....

or a TIGHT log mani and put turbo where that header is now. :)

maybe I didnt read the thread thoroughly enough but why don't you just bolt an internal gate onto the turbo and bypass all of this frustration? Is there no exhaust housing made for that turbo with an internal gate?

i ask for advise then ppl call me faggot talk ----! i have a weldiing degree so i can make a log style i think just need a manifold flange thats why im try to get v8 dave to sell that maniflod he has to do something to my likeing if not im going to get some stock cast mfs and do the y pipe design it would be easy and can put the tubo any were.

Dude, it'd cost more for me to ship it from the UK->US that it would to buy one direct from SSACrack.

If you've got a welding degree(?), then just buy a flange and make a log. Better still, got twin turbo :6

Re: noob to the whole FI

i am acctually in the process of modifying one of those manifolds for my supplier. i am going to put a flange at the collector, then run a tube down under the car just a bit and have the wastegate sit there. i just tried to take some pics. i dont know if they will make any sense to you but i will try anyway. i have the manifold and turbo mounted, but havent touched any of the wastegate stuff yet

::EDIT:: i have a gasket for the M50 engine. i could send it to my flange guy and sell you a flange if you want also.

here is a close up pic of where the tube will come out of the manifold. i have labeled a few things to help orient you in the car.

Attachment 14093

this pic is at the same angle and just a little farther down towards the rear of the car. the opening on the wastegate will be connected to the downpipe off the turbo

I've got an M50 dwg :6

Can't quite get the right perspective on those pics, looks like in that last pic you're mounting the wg *under* the car??

Shame it'll never be of any use to us RHD guys, it's tough just getting a 3.5" DP down past the steering shaft let alone putting the turbo down there too :(
