Except that Hondas turn backwards. Trans is on the wrong side too.

This guy has one of the best tupperware builds around. It is constantly evolving. His last setup was right at 500 wheel horses.

Besides, I like odd stuff. Hondas work pretty damn good, but they are ubiquitous. I am the type to throw a bunch of money at a shitty Saturd or diesel VW to make 1/2 the power of the B-honda. Brilliant, I know. But at least I have identified and chosen to ignore my illness.

Some day I would like to investigate the possibility of swapping a VW diesel into a Saturd. I love diesels and you can get retarded power from those VW engines. The best Saturn guys are only able to rape these things for 500 or 550 hp. The ports are too low and the valvetrain is poop. The ---- just doesn't flow.

For now I am going to make love to my car as is. It is super easy to drive, I almost never have to downshift (turbo torque ftw), and it still gets 37 mpg.

TDI (VW) are not the best diesel, it's not even common rail. Its quite overrated.
Plenty of other diesel engines that have high output and great torque. And great mileage as well.

but what is available in the US? Lots of truck crap, but VW is the only company with tha ballz to import the damn things any more. Plus the aftermarket for VW diesel hot-rodding is pretty strong, especially compared with the aftermarket for Saturn!

I think you should put in a twin turbo 3.9 cummins!

Re: Update on Turbo Saturd

it seem like your set up would have very poor fuel atamization seeing as how the extra fuel has to mak a 90 degree turn but other then that i really like the setup and use of alcohol

Re: Update on Turbo Saturd

One might think the fuel would pile up in the 90, but I don't have any issues. When I take it apart the silicon wall doesn't have any traces of fuel condensation on it. I planned on replacing this thing at my first chance, but hell with it. I already paid for this one, so it stays until it breaks, just like everything else!
