And yeah i would do some sort of intercooler @ 10psi.

WTF are you talking about? Those devices are to monitor your engine, not tune with. He doesn't need an intercooler yet either. You're probably someone that thinks methanol injection is like nawwwzzz ::).

Anyway, Spekter you are a cool ass dude. By far the best noob around here in a long time. You're humble about your car which is good. Most asshats throw a DSM t-25 on their Honduh and think it's the fastest ---- ever and then get ass hurt when you tell them otherwise. I think it's awesome that you're using smurf piss instead of a front mount. Every ricer with a turbo has an $80 Egay core. Methanol has some good attributes beyond just keeping things cool too. It will be a good component for you even if you do eventually need an intercooler. Your ingenuity and creativeness are awesome. That's truely thinking outside the box. For a first set-up you did a great job. The 90 can be swapped out when it needs to be. Good work on your project and good luck on your future upgrades and continued efforts. I guess it's just refreshing to see a thread like this as opposed to "How much powerz will mie JDM d16 make wif teh 14b and reverz indiglo gauges?" A+ would read again :y.

I think he meant is he using a wideband to tune the EIC.

Thanks for the feedback, 2G6. I am just trying to make the world a better place one shitty terbo car at a time!

Yeah, I kinda planned the alky injection as a long term investment. Like you said, in the future when I get serious about really screwing this car up with like 70psi tripple turbos and VEETAAAK injection, well, the meth system will still be there. Hell, so will the ugly 90! Just chillin there, pissing off everyone who lays eyes upon it! But until then, I will continue to rock the plastic pooper, complete with gangster manifold, crappy 90, and free IHI.

Here's to the mid-16's and trap speeds slower than my wifes stock auto-4cyl Accord! Weeeeeeeee!!!

Hey Francis, that unsprung hub piece of poopoo was craptastic. Would have been great in a fast car, though. Steet disk is nice and and smooth, like some other stuff...

How bout that Cummins? I wanna ride when I get back from the wrong side of the country! Just curious what 80 psi of compound terbo boost feels like!

Update on Turbo Saturd

I just completed my fifth week of commuting with the shat-pile turbo tupperware and it still runs! Work is 65 miles away from where I am staying here, so it is pretty rough. Plus I drove the car 2500 miles to get to California to work, right after the turbo install, so I am pretty impressed with the beastliness of this. To be honest, I half expected it to blow sky high while driving through the Rockies or accross the Bonneville Salt Flats or some ----.

When I first got it turbo'd

After some slight alterations and like 6000 miles of abuse

Heat control

The air filter that tried to jump off last week. 2 hose clamps now, bitch!

Plus, I drove it here on the long trip:

Re: Update on Turbo Saturd

It does not need the twin cam. These damn things vibrate so bad over 5 grand that it makes life suck. Stock, the SOHC makes more power everywhere under 4000. The turbo just multiplies that personality.

Some day I would like to investigate the possibility of swapping a VW diesel into a Saturd. I love diesels and you can get retarded power from those VW engines. The best Saturn guys are only able to rape these things for 500 or 550 hp. The ports are too low and the valvetrain is poop. The ---- just doesn't flow.

For now I am going to make love to my car as is. It is super easy to drive, I almost never have to downshift (turbo torque ftw), and it still gets 37 mpg.

Re: Update on Turbo Saturd

500, highest I've ever seen was 350. (I owned an SL2)

I always thought a nice honda powerplant would liven up that shitty 1.9 turd that sits under the hood.
