is the nissan t25 bigger than the dsm, also how is the nissan t25 compare to the 14b. Turbo mag says the specs are 56mm compressor wheel and 62-trim turbine wheel in a 64a/r housing and my compressor housing is .80a/r, i just want to know which is better thanks.

I'd go with the nissan t25 but lets hear it from other peoples whos them. I know the DSM 14b is larger than the DSM T25, but sure if the nissan t25 and the DSM t25 are equivalent.

It's going to depend which Nissan T25 - there are many different variations.

If you could tell us what year/model of car the Nissan T25 came from, we might be able to help you further.

A CA18DET T25 is not the same as a S13 Silivia SR20DET T25, which is not the same as a 300ZX T25.... and so forth - you get the idea.

However, there is only one type of DSM T25, so you don't need to clarify that one.

I used to have a Nissan style Garrett T25 that was .49/.48, I never used it on my car though, sold it off for a T3 before I had a chance to put it on.

I wonder how that compares to the DSM T25?

My mistake - I don't know how I missed those specs above. Yours (9ray turbo) is a decently large sized T25 - at 56mm major diameter on the compressor wheel, it's going to be bigger / better flowing than the DSM T25, which is ~52mm, IIRC.

The T25 that EJ1 Wilcox is describing is most likely a CA18DET T25, and is about as small as they get - smaller for sure than the DSM T25.

The CA18DET turbo supposedly maxes out at about 210 crank horsepower or so - which is about what the DSMs which came factory with the T25 were rated at on the showroom floor.
