so ya im the new guy of the day and i have a question. As you see by the name i own a 96 gsr. Its really a ls body with gsr (that is being re-built) engine to be swapped in when finish. I work for my stepdad who owns a towing company and impound yard. We (I) now have a TSI AWD TURBO. After looking at the engine i have noticed (just from looking) the valve cover was off , no battery, and a sparkplug missing. Now should i stick a lil moeny to see if it runs OR would it be worth it to take off the turbo and put that on my integra gsr?

well since you are re building the gsr motor you could put in different pistons to make it more turbo friendly.

instead of using stock rods/pistons/rings call arias or JE or crower. get 1 point lower on comp get a b series turbo menifold frfom where ever. adapter plate, turbo, 450cc dsm and afc, bang over 200whp

it would be cheaper and easier to do the dsm. building very fast hondas is expensive.

what year is the talon? the 1g's can be made smokin fast for pretty cheap. and awd just kicks ***.

I would go with the TSI AWD TURBO. It would be worth it if it runs after a getting a spark plug. Just borrow a battery to crank it. Good luck.

Yes, try the TSi, it's only going to be a few bucks, If it runs, then your going to have a fast car for practically nothing. 1g dsm, talon, can be fast, very fast for little money. If it doesn't work, you can always use the parts for your car, or sell them to get better parts for your car.
