That means , that in order to hit high 10´s on the 1/4 mile, it is necessary 7.0 on the 1/8 mile, rigth ??

Not necessarily. A lot can happen AFTER 1/8th.

But your safe to say your in 10's if you've gone 6.99 or better.

We setting up the boost by gear on this bad boy so you can get better traction down low or just run 30 psi in every gear?

In the 450-550whp range the cars running 7.0 in the 1/8th are turning 10.2-10.6 @144-148. Of course, 1/8ths change a bit track to track and the same cars run 6.8-ish elsewhere. Typically, a big power FWD will run faster in the 1/4 than indicated by the RWD V8 rule of thumb; 1/8th ET times 1.54. Dudeman's already run a 7.21 which converts to an 11.10 in the 1/4, so in reality his car runs 10's already because it's a lot harder to get out of the hole than do a 3rd-4th shift from a roll - even if it's not "official."

FYI, the D16s seem to 60' better than the "big" B-series cars with a lot more torque at the launch, so they run slightly slower on the back half although still a lot faster than an all holeshot + slow from the roll 600 whp V8. Definitely a 10 second car with nothing else changed, IMO, but ---- gets real funny in the real world and he'll probably be plagued by small stupid problems for the next six months OR the car will run flawlessly that whole time. There is no middle road, for some reason.
