New Setup. Now go ---- yourself.

Re: New Setup. Now go ---- yourself.
Don't ever paint a fuel injected block or transmission ever again. That is the electrical ground point of your system and you just slathered it in an insulator, might as well have gone in for a wiring tuck.
Scrape that ---- off in strategic places and run fresh ground straps from chassis to engine and trans, as well as trans to engine. Seal the contact points from corrosion with dielectric grease. The 20 year old oxidized OEM ground straps are less than useless with the paint curveball thrown at it.

2 grounds on trans are both cookied down to bare metal as is the frame on those 2 grounds. Alternator bracket is also ground down along with where it bolts to the block. bellhousing on both sides is also cookie down. But I do plan on going in and adding a bunch more grounds. Thanks dude. Btw battery is in passenger compartment for the time being also. But there isnt one oem ground cable in that engine bay.
