Those axles won't like a slick bigger than 23". They'd take it, but not for long.

Are you stock diff or what? It really shouldn't be much work to upgrade to B-series axles, might cost a bit if/depending on which LSD you have.

The car has always liked 23's so im gonna stick with them.

Stock open diff. I definately want to make a point that you can go 10's on a stock D trans. But im not saying it will last that many runs.

My boy with the built Z6 went 7.47 in the 1/8th last week, then ---- canned the trans on the next run. It's been together a couple years tho, so I'm sure you're 100% correct a stock trans can do 10s for a little while.

I have about four or five 7 mid´s 1/8 mile runs on my car, with no snapped axles, but maybe my lsd is doing is job.

This one's been going every weekend for a few years, he does have an OBX though. :P

D-series are somewhat underrated. They get the job done in the right hands.

The kid also uses high mileage parts on the cheap. Give him a low mileage or rebuilt trans and he will last a lot longer. Better yet, hook a ni66a up with a LSD and maybe he will get it into the 9's.
